Service Description

The Family & Friends® Adult CPR course is designed for community members who want to learn life-saving skills for adults. No prior medical experience is required — this course is perfect for anyone who wants to be prepared for emergencies at home, work, or in public. In this hands-on class, participants will learn how to: Recognize adult cardiac emergencies Perform high-quality adult CPR Use an AED (automated external defibrillator) safely and effectively Respond to choking and other common adult emergencies Stay calm and confident while providing life-saving assistance until professional help arrives Offered through the AHA Friends & Family® program, this course is informal and practical, with no official certification issued. It’s an ideal way for everyday heroes to gain the skills and confidence to act when every second counts. This course is steeply discounted to $15 ($30 value). Please consider bringing nonperishable food items to donate to the Wonder Lake Neighbors Food Pantry. Please arrive 15 minutes early to register. ​*An official AHA BLS Provider eCard is NOT issued for this course.

All course registrations must be canceled at least 48 hours before the scheduled start time to receive a refund. Cancellations within 48 hours of the course or missed sessions are non-refundable, as spots are reserved and materials are prepared in advance.
